KIIT School of Pharmacy, KIMS, KIIT Deemed to be University, has celebrated the Pharma Anveshan 2025 (National Pharmacy Education Day) on 6th March 2025, as declared by the Pharmacy Council of India. This day is celebrated in memory of BirthDay of Prof. M.L Scroff, who is the Father of Pharmacy. Prof. M. L. Schroff created and shaped the precise pathway for Pharmaceutical education in India with his predisposition, understanding, capacity, patriotism and comprehensive visualization. He has been a pioneer in introducing a full-fledged three year B. Pharm course at BHU for the first time in India in 1937. To honor his service to Pharmacy Profession PCI has celebrated the 121″ Birth Anniversary of prof. M.L. SchrofT as “Pharma Anveshan 2025.
This year’s theme for Pharma Anveshan 2025 is “Entrepreneurship & Startups in Pharma and pharmacy Practice Encouraging innovation, incubation centers and pharmaceutical startups.”

About 200 Pharmacy people including Pharmacy faculties and staffs have participated in the celebration.
The National Pharmacy Education Day (Meeting) was graced by the presence of eminent Personality that are Prof. (Dr.) Biswaranjan Behera (Principal), Prof. Prafulla Kumar Mahapatra, Prof. (Dr.) Una Lakshmi Narayan, and Sri. Subodh Kumar Nayak of KIIT School of Pharmacy. All dignitaries delivered their speech on History of Pharmacy, Contribution of Prof. M.L. Scroff in Pharmacy, and the need for revolution in Pharmacy Education. Dr. D. Senapati highlighted on Pharmacy Research and how it can be extended to Pharmacy Start up. Dr. B.S. Nayak delivered the speech on present and future status of Pharmacy Profession in contribution to Nation and Globe. Other faculties Dr. P.P anda, Ms. S. Rout, and Ms. B. Paital were present in the Meeting. The students Mr. Manas Raj, Ms. Amrita Singh, and Ms. Priya Ray delivered a speech on this theme of the National Pharmacy Education Day. The Dr. G.S. Dash delivered the Vote of Thanks.
