KIIT SCHOOL OF PHAMACY PARTICIPATED 19 th AAPI GLOBAL HEALTH SUMMIT 2026 ON 10-01-2026

On 10 January 2026, faculties and students of the KIIT School of Pharmacy participated in the 19 th AAPI (American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin) Global Health Summit 2026, held at the Central Auditorium, Campus-6, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. The summit was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS and KIMS along with Dr. Amit Chakrabarty, Chairman of AAPI.

About 220 pharmacy students attended the summit. The event highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) – based medical treatments in the diagnosis and management of various diseases. Experts emphasized the importance of modern medical technologies in ensuring safe and effective healthcare delivery.

Students also participated in a pledge for voluntary bone marrow and stem cell donation, subject to medical eligibility, demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility. Overall, the program provided valuable exposure to emerging medical technologies and enhanced student understands of contemporary approaches to safe and effective treatment of diseases.
